Film director Nora Fingscheidt attended school in Germany and Argentina and is a graduate of the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg. She was nominated for the German Short Film Award for SYNKOPE in 2011 and participated in Berlinale Talents in 2012. Her documentary OHNE DIESE WELT won awards including the Max Ophüls Prize in 2017. Her feature debut SYSTEM CRASHER was selected for the Script Station at Berlinale Talents in 2017 and is screening in this year’s Berlinale Competition.Events
From 1991 until 2007, Volker Frank-Palm worked in lighting departments on film sets for over 300 commercials. Since 2008, he has been Project Manager for Client Contact Lighting & Grip at ARRI Rental Deutschland in Berlin. His main responsibilities are tendering, advising and looking after and organising the lighting and stage equipment for domestic and international film productions as well as for commercials and TV productions.
Camila Freitas studied film at the Universidade de Brasília and at the Universidade Federal Fluminense in Rio. Between 2007 and 2013, she lived and worked in Paris as a camera assistant and cinematographer. She also studied cinematography at the Ecole nationale supérieure Louis-Lumière in Saint-Denis. She works as a cinematographer and filmmaker. CHÃO, her first feature-length film, was selected for the Doc Station at Berlinale Talents in 2018 and is now premiering at Berlinale Forum.Events
