Berlinale Talents Circle of Friends
The saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child, and we believe it takes a village to nurture talent too. You can become a part of that effort by joining the Berlinale Talents Circle of Friends and help support our future Talents by contributing whatever you can.
Your donation, no matter the size, helps us support the next generation of Talents to join us in Berlin and gain access to international networks, joint projects and shared visions. And because we believe in the power of the community, we want to show you how appreciative we are of your support!
Where Does Your Money Go?
Your contribution goes directly to the Talents who require financial assistance:
- 20€ could cover a Talent's meals for one day
- 50€ could cover one night's accomodation
- 100€ could cover part of six nights of accommodation in a simple hostel for one person
- 250€ could cover accommodation and meals in Berlin
- 500€ could already cover part of a flight
- 1000€ could cover part of travel and accommodation for one person
What does joining the Circle of Friends offer you?
No matter what you give, you make an impact by enabling talent from all over the world to join Berlinale Talents, offering much-needed assistance to filmmakers in situations of hardship. Your support means a lot and we'd like to recognise that.
For donations of 25€ or more you’ll receive a little token of Berlinale Talents appreciation, from a template for your social media profile saying you helped support us, to stickers, notebooks, a public thank you on our website and more! For those who can give a little more, perhaps covering the potential cost of accomodation or flights, we have some other surprises up our sleeve too!
You will also be included in a Thank You newsletter update and social media post after the festival.
