Leonardo Goi

Leonardo Goi is a film critic, writer, and editor based in Italy. He’s a staff writer and columnist at MUBI Notebook, and a regular contributor to The Film Stage, Reverse Shot, Film Comment, and Filmmaker Magazine, among many others. He runs and teaches at a number of film criticism workshops, including the Berlinale Talents Press, which he attended in 2019, the Critics Campus at the Golden Apricot International Film Festival in Yerevan, Armenia, and the European Workshop for Film Criticism. Having graduated from Locarno’s Critics Academy in 2017, in 2024 he served as Lead Editor of the festival’s daily magazine, Pardo.
