Uttam neupane

Surya Kumar Neupane (born 1987), professionally known as Uttam Neupane, CAS, is a National Award-winning Nepali re-recording sound mixer, sound designer, and production sound mixer. He has (...) contributed to a diverse range of international cinema, including films from Nepal, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, India, Bangladesh, Kurdistan, and China. Uttam's works have been screened at some of the most prestigious film festivals worldwide, including Venice, Cannes,IDFA,Busan etc. Neupane’s critically acclaimed works, Bulbul and Talakjung vs Tulke, were selected as Nepal’s official entries for the 92nd and 88th Academy Awards, respectively. A recognized talent in his field, he is an alumnus of the Asian Film Academy at the Busan International Film Festival and Berlinale Talents at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2023 and 2024.He has sound designed and mixed over 100 feature films from various countries, bringing a refined technical skillset and international experience to every project. In 2020, Mr. Neupane was honored with active membership in the prestigious Cinema Audio Society (CAS), becoming the first Nepali re-recording sound mixer authorized to use the CAS designation after his name.
