Ingrid Pokropek is an Argentinian film producer, director and screenwriter. She produced Trenque Lauquen (2022, directed by Laura Citarella and premiered in La Biennale di Venezia 2022), The Middle Ages (Berlinale Forum 2022, Alejo Moguillansky & Luciana Acuña), among other films. She is a partner in the production company 36 Caballos, winner of the Golden Bear for Best Short Film 2024 for The Odd Turn. Her debut feature film as a director, The Major Tones (2023), was premiered in Berlinale Generation Kplus and was awarded in Jeonju (Grand Prize of the International Competition), Málaga (Best Ibero-American Film and Best Actress) and Seattle (Jury Special Mention). She has also directed various short films that have premiered and won awards worldwide such as "Electric Boy" (2021), and "Shendy Wu: a diary" (2019).
