Gaumaya Gurung's recent work " Shape of Momo " directed by Tribeny Rai, won the "HAF goes to Cannes" at HKIFF Industry 2025. She is known for her roles in the commercially acclaimed "Kabaddi 4", "MahaJatra " and "Pooja, Sir " which premiered at the Venice Film Festival 2024. Other notable works include BBC's Drama mini series "Black Narcissus (2020)" and the Nepal National Awards winning "1915: Legend of Gurkhas". Her upcoming films " Mahabhoj" and " Abhimanyu" are releasing worldwide later this year. Besides acting, she has co-produced short films, "Shiladhan", "Nettle Soup" and YouTube series " Harami".
