Gaumaya's recent film "Shape of Momo" premiered at the Busan and San Sebastián International Film Festivals (2025), earning her a Special Jury Mention for Best Actress at the Third Eye Asian Film Festival and a Best Actress nomination at the Singapore International Film Festival. She is known for her roles in the commercially acclaimed "Kabaddi 4", "MahaJatra " and "Pooja, Sir " which premiered at the Venice Film Festival 2024. Other notable works include BBC's Drama mini series "Black Narcissus (2020)", Nepal National Awards winning "1915: Legend of Gurkhas", " Reemai" and " Abhimanyu".
