Rafael Manuel is a Filipino filmmaker based in between London, Amsterdam, and Manila. His last short film, 'Filipiñana' won the Silver Bear Jury Prize for Short Film at the 70th Berlinale. He is currently working on his first 2 feature films with the support of the Cannes Cinéfondation La Residence, the Hubert Bals Fund, the Locarno Filmmakers Academy, and the Prince Claus Fund.
