Maryam Khalilzadeh is an Iranian illustrator and animation filmmaker based in Finland. She graduated from Re: Anima, a European joint Master's program in Animation. Additionally, she holds a BA in Graphic Design and an MA in Animation from Tehran's University of Art. In six short films, she has worked as a director, screenwriter, animator, concept, layout artist, storyboard, and background designer. These films have been showcased at different film festivals worldwide and have received awards. Throughout her films, she integrates poetic concepts and stories with her unique graphic style.
