I am a filmmaker, editor, and Ph.D. researcher at the Edinburgh College of Art. My academic background is in history, peace and conflict management, and visual anthropology. With over 8 years of experience as an audio-visual editor at Globo TV in Brazil and a Master's degree in film from Kino Eyes Erasmus Movie Masters, I have worked on various TV shows, commercials, and short films, including the drama 'Three Graces' (2021), which screened at the Tiradentes Film Festival, and the short documentary 'Newcomers' (2013), which premiered at the Rio de Janeiro International Short Film Festival. I am currently immersed in my practice-based Ph.D., focusing on creative documentary filmmaking and human rights, particularly on migration and refugeeism. Alongside freelance editing, I am actively involved in teaching, developing my first feature, and exploring a newfound passion for film curation and programming.
