Maria Carla del Rio

Young Cuban producer focused in the author cinema productions, leader of the production group Marinca Filmes. She studied production at the EICTV and also studied Graphic Design in the High Institute (...) of Design of Cuba. She has produced films from very well known Cuban filmmakers. The most recent one is the documentary “Between the lines” (Manos de padre) which is about to release theatrically and on twenty-one TV channels from Latin America. She was one of the emerging film producers from Latin America invited by CNC to participate in the 8th Producer’s Network during the 68th Cannes Film Festival. In 2015, she participated in the Scholarship for the Emerging Leaders of Latin America of the Concordia University in Montreal. She is currently the manager of Nuevas Miradas EICTV Workshop for Films in Development.
