Leo Soesanto

For Léo Soesanto, film curation should be a balance between DJing, exploration, contextualisation, interior design, taking the audience by the hand and suddenly let it make its own way in the dark. (...) He is a French film journalist, author and curator. His writing has been published in Libération, Les Inrockuptibles, Première, GQ, Vogue, Graziz and the Cinémathèque Française catalogue. He has been programming features, shorts and series for festivals for more than a decade (Cannes, Rotterdam, Bordeaux and currently Riga IFF) and invited for many juries, panels and lectures. He co-created in 2024 "Goodbye, Dragon Inn", a film club dedicated to Asian cinema.
