Leila Khalilzadeh is an Iranian-Canadian filmmaker whose fiction, animation, and documentary films have been showcased at international film festivals, including Berlinale and Festival du nouveau cinéma. She holds an MFA in Film Production from Concordia University, Montréal, and an MA in Cinema from University of Art, Tehran. An alumna of Berlinale Talents, Reykjavík Talent Lab, and the Reelworld Producer Program, Leila is also a member of the Directors Guild of Canada. She has fiction and documentary projects in different stages of development and is currently working on her debut feature film.
