Afro-Venezuelan filmmaker, writer, and cultural producer. Co-founder of Manduca Estudio, she is creating a creative space from which to promote film and cultural projects with a social, experimental, and locally rooted focus, always in tune with Latin American dialogue. Her non-linear career spans sociology, film directing, and design for social innovation, passing through television, commercial production, and film criticism published in magazines and platforms in the region. This diversity has allowed her to articulate a hybrid practice that mixes the poetic, the narrative, and the audiovisual, exploring chronicle as language and cinema as an exercise in memory and human resistance. In 2024, she participated in Film Independent's Global Media Makers, and in 2025, she received the Prince Claus Seed Award and was selected for Talents Buenos Aires, milestones that have expanded her networks and creative tools. She is currently producing the feature films El Narrador, a documentary about a heritage voice of Venezuelan baseball, and Derrumbes, a docufiction that portrays the generational drift in Caracas. As an executive producer, her interest is focused on opening up avenues for making Venezuelan cinema from Venezuela, sustaining creation in adverse environments and committing to imagining possible futures through a cinema that is born from the territory and projects itself outward.
