Chu Hoi Ying (Nicole) is a Hong Kong filmmaker with a BA in Music (CUHK) and MFA in Film Production (HKBU). Her short 3 Generations 3 Days won Best Director and Best Film at the Fresh Wave Awards and Best Live Action Short Film at the Golden Horse Awards. After the Cat earned her Best Director at the Golden Harvest Awards. Her films have screened internationally at festivals like Raindance and Palm Springs ShortFest. An alumna of Berlinale Talents, the Asian Film Academy, Busan Asian Film School, Taipei Golden Horse Academy and Bucheon Fantastic School.
