BFI Network x BAFTA Crew producer and film educator, graduate of the Biennale Cinema College and the European Genre Forum, Giada has earned credits in A and B category festivals, with significant experience in low and medium-budget production. Active in the creative industry since 2011, collaborating with leading Italian film, advertising and large scale event production companies, such as BWS, THINK-CATTLEYA, FREEMANTLE and DISNEY. In 2018, after moving to the UK, she founded PAGURO FILM and produced the short film MOTHS TO FLAME (2018 - Studio Universal Prize at Alice Nella Città and Italian Silver Ribbon awarded), feature doc FULCI FOR FAKE (2019) selected at Mostra Internazionale del Cinema di Venezia and screened at Sitges Fantastic Film Festival and DARIO ARGENTO PANICO (2023) a feature doc directed by Simone Scafidi, starring Dario Argento himself, Asia Argento, Guillermo Del Toro, Nicolas Winding Refn and Gaspar Noè, acquired by Shudder, Plaion and Nonstop Entertainment, internationally represented by Mediawan. As an educator, she collaborated with the British Council and the Civic School of Cinema in Milan, delivering workshops on movies production and distribution. In June 2020, the Biennale of Venice selected her project IN BETWEEN\THE HIVE directed by Marco Pellegrino for the Biennale Cinema College program. The feature, part of the European Genre Forum 2021, was pitched at the TALLIN BLACK NIGHTS in the last November and it’s now at the financing stage. In 2024 she is one of the founder of RED SLED FILMS in Valle d'Aosta, Italy. The aim of the company is to highlight talents, both local and international, giving a platform for young and old voices to be seen. Valle d’Aosta is a Northern Italian region with many resources and opportunities for film production. It offers several landscape locations equipped with financing tools with support from the VDA Film Commission. Red Sled Films responds to the need of the territory and local professionals giving the appropriate tools to effectively face the challenge of the contemporary audiovisual market and making an already “cinema-friendly” region even more attractive. In the last years Giada took part in different programs supported by Creative UK. EWA member and part of Women in Film and TV (UK).
