Erika Elizalde

Erika Elizalde is an executive producer/producer, screenwriter, content creator and director. Born in Uruguay, she has lived in Spain for 17 years. She holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication (...) from the Complutense University of Madrid. She received a scholarship from the IBERMEDIA Program in 2008 to study Audiovisual Production at the Instituto de Cine de Madrid. Diploma in Screenwriting at the Factoría del Guion in Madrid. Berlinale Talent 2015. Studies in acting, dramaturgy and creative writing. Currently studying a Master's Degree in Executive Production of Audiovisual Content at The Core School. Member of CIMA and AAMMA. As an audiovisual producer she has produced more than a dozen short films and has also worked in one of the first short film distribution companies in Spain in the International Distribution and Sales Department. In the last three years she has released two feature films in Spain (Vampus Horror Tales & Regresa El Cepa). She also produces theatrical shows for the Wax Museum in Madrid and collaborates in the production of events such as the Adecco Experience Day (Madrid-Amsterdam-Tokyo). In 2014 he creates Raccord Films with Lu Moreira, a production house in Uruguay from which they develop several audiovisual projects with international projection. In 2020 she founded the production company Argot Films in Spain, with which she produced her first feature film as main producer, "Vampus Horror Tales", a film in which she also co-directed. She collaborates assiduously with the Wax Museum of Madrid producing thematic shows. She also participates as associate producer in the feature documentary "Regresa el Cepa". With her latest project "A golpe de mar" she received the Creation Grant at the Malaga Film Festival 2023 in which she is the director as well as producer. In addition to producing, she is a screenwriter and has received several selections and awards with her scripts in laboratories such as MadridCreaLab3, Eave on Demand, Bolivia Lab, Isla Margarita Festival, Huelva Festival, Ibermedia Development, among others. In 2019 she receives the Script Writing Grant from the Community of Madrid to develop the feature film "La chica del hiper". In 2020 she premieres the documentary "Bitácora de Barrio" as co-writer. As an author she has premiered several plays in Microteatro por Dinero in Madrid and Barcelona. She currently lives in Malaga, where she combines her work as a producer with that of content creator for advertising agencies in Spain and the rest of Europe.
