Douglas Henrique

Douglas Henrique is a director, curator, photographer and film archivist. Studied Film and Audiovisual Arts at the Federal University of Pernambuco. Is a full member of the curatorial team at Cinema (...) UFPE, as well as the artistic director and curator of the "MOV - Festival Internacional de Cinema Universitário de Pernambuco" and the "Jorra! Festival de Cinema Negro". Currently producing the "Fresta - Festival de Cinema Analógico de Pernambuco", the first festival dedicated to audiovisual preservation and encouraging new productions in Super 8 and 16mm in the northeast of Brazil. Is finishing his first short film entitled "Os Arcos Dourados de Olinda" and developing his first feature film "Uma Conexão Alemã de Tecido". Associate member of ABD-PE/APECI and ABPA.
