Dina Duma is an award-winning Macedonian film director. She graduated in Film Directing from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje in 2014 and was selected as a Berlinale Talents participant in 2016. Her debut feature film, Sisterhood, premiered at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in 2021, where it received the Special Jury Prize in the East of the West Competition. The film went on to represent North Macedonia in the Best International Feature Film category at the 2022 Oscars and became the first Macedonian film to stream on Netflix. Her second feature film, Skateboarding Is Not for Girls, premiered at the International Competition section at the Tribeca Festival 2026, and won the Nora Ephron Award. Dina is currently developing her third feature film, As long as you can climb a tree.
