Carla Villa-Lobos is a brazilian filmmaker graduated in Cinema at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She has seven years of experience as assistant director in series, features and short films. As a director, she has two short films that address different aspects of women's sexualities, "Mercadoria" (2017) and "MC Jess" (2018), having also participated in the script and editing. Currently researches through the visual arts the creation of new imaginary and visibilities, and the reappropriation or reaffirmation of symbols assigned to lesbian women.
