Wendy bases her work in research, process and meaning. She is part of an emerging generation of filmmakers who explore the authorial identity of the new Dominican cinema, while building bridges for it to grow, expand and be recognized. She has been part of internationally acclaimed films like COCOTE, HOLY BEASTS, PETRA, THE SILENCE OF THE WIND, THE KING OF HAVANA, THE COSMONAUT, and several documentaries and international festivals. She's about to premiere her new documentary film THE SURROUNDING WORLD and is currently developing her first feature, a documentary about artist Angélica Dass' HUMANAE PROJECT.
