Joshua Jádi

Half-German, half-Hungarian, and fully devoted to the art of storytelling. Shaped by the teachings of Michael Haneke and Jessica Hausner, I'm now studying Film Directing in Barbara Albert's MA class (...) at Filmacademy Vienna. Along the way, I've been fortunate to participate in inspiring labs such as Torino ScriptLab 2023, Reykjavik Talent Lab 2023, Sarajevo Talents 2022 and Locarno Academy Summer School 2019. My short films have travelled to over 50 festivals around the world. Most recently, my film Traces in the Forest premiered at the Sarajevo Film Festival. When I'm not behind the camera, I curate Eastern European Cinema at FilmFestival Cottbus.
