Joshua Jádi

Half-German, half-Hungarian, and fully devoted to the art of storytelling. Shaped by the teachings of Michael Haneke and Jessica Hausner, I'm now studying Film Directing in Barbara Albert's MA class (...) at Filmacademy Vienna. Member of the European Film Academy. I'm thankful to have participated in in Berlinale Talents, Torino ScriptLab, Sarajevo Talents and Locarno Academy Summer School. My short films have travelled to over 50 festivals around the world. Most recently, my film Stuporia premiered at Tirana International Film Festival. I'm also the co-writer of Austrian-German feature film WHO IS AFRAID OF GOD. When I'm not behind the camera, I curate Eastern European Cinema at FilmFestival Cottbus.
