Douglas Henrique is a Brazilian director, cinematographer, and curator. A graduate in Film from UFPE (Brazil), he is currently a master's student in film archiving at EQZE - Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola (Spain). He directed the short film “Os Arcos Dourados de Olinda,” which premiered at the 27th Rio Film Festival. He has served as cinematographer on several films, including: Inocentes, Surpresa, Me Avise Quando Chegar, 500 Graus, O Ônibus, and Caderno de Viagem. He is the Curator for UFPE Cinema and the Director and Curator of the Fresta - International Analog Film Festival, MOV Festival, and Jorra! Black Film Festival. He won the Best Editing Award at the 28th Cine-PE Film Festival and has participated in international programs such as Berlinale Talents Rio 2024 and Berlinale Talents Buenos Aires 2025.
