Born in China and now residing in Canada, Yiqian Zhang is a creative producer who has extensive experience in both the festival and broadcast spaces. She was co-producer on Julia Reichert and Steven Bognar’s Academy-award-winning documentary American Factory which sold to Netflix. She also worked on various productions as producer, associate producer, line producer, field producer and researcher, including Academy shortlisted documentary, Violet Du Feng’s Hidden Letters. Currently, she is producing Breaking the Wall for Weichao Xu, The Fruit is Ripe for Yuqi Kang, and Chunyu: A Death Foretold for Fan Yang.
