TORU TOKIKAWA

Born in Japan and raised in the US and Indonesia. As a multi-award winning director and producer, Toru was been based in London and Paris for 15 years prior to relocating to LA. While here, he’s been (...) directing music videos, commercials and producing film and TV for over 18 years. A graduate of the University of Tokyo (majoring in management), Toru began his career at top Japanese advertising agency Dentsu. He then became a creative director/photographer in the music and fashion industry. Toru is currently in preproduction of a Sci-Fi animation movie CLONE HUNTER, has just completed his documentary feature about video game heroes meet Japanese traditional art: UKIYO-E HEROES as well as writing a number of screenplays. He also has directed and produced a documentary with the legendary rock band KISS and Japanese pop mega-star girls band Momoiro Clover Z. His thriller movie KFDJ is also in development. Toru is a member of SACEM (Société des Auteurs, Compositeurs et Editeurs de Musique.).
