Sidharth Mathawan

Kashmir-born architect from SPA, New Delhi, Sidharth, now a Mumbai-based Writer/ Director, honed his craft in Production Design for projects like Midnight's Children, Don 2, and Prague, and (...) commercials for Apple, Google, Chivas, 100 Pipers, etc with renowned directors like Wong Kar-Wai, Deepa Mehta, Farhan Akhtar, Bharat Sikka and Emmanuel Lubeski. He has attended screenwriting workshops at filmArche, Berlin (2014) and Whistling Woods (2023). Also international film festivals, Berlinale (2010, 2014) and Cannes (2017, 2018), and attended the Producers Workshop at Le Marché du Film, Cannes 2017 and TFL Meeting Event 2018. He has directed short films- ‘Analog Girl’ premiered at the Debrief Cannes in Paris (2018), and ‘The Desire for Desires’ premiered at CSAFF, Chicago (2018). He has further developed his screenwriting craft at TorinoFilmLab Extended- Script Development Program (2018) & Writers INK Film Screenwriting Lab (2023-24).
