Sabah Haider

I'm a Canadian filmmaker and screenwriter based between Paris and Beirut. I'm most interested in projects that explore themes of social or cultural displacement; exile; and "narratives from below." (...) I'm currently finishing a Phd in anthropology and so my theoretical interests in underexplored communities really intersects with my cinematic interests and preference for representing lesser known narratives of individuals and communities particularly as they exist and take shape in urban environments.
