Born in East-Berlin, Rosa Friedrich studied directing at the Film Academy Vienna with Michael Haneke and Jessica Hausner, focusing on a slightly more playful approach to film language. Her Bachelor film TOPFPALMEN was part of Future Frames at Karlovy Vary Film Festival and was nominated for First Steps 2020. Rosa also studied philosophy, psychology and film studies and lead various dance and theater groups, fruitfully complementing her work as director and screenwriter.
