Penelope Tsilika was born in Athens, Greece. She graduated from National Theatre of Greece Drama School, and she was immediately cast in Pantelis Voulgaris' LITTLE ENGLAND, which marked her feature film debut. For her performance in the film, she received the Best Actress Award at the 17th Shanghai International Film Festival and the Best Newcomer (actress) Award at the 20th Athens International Film Festival. The film is the official submission of Greece for the Best Foreign-Language Film Academy Award (2015). Penelope is currently performing at the National Theatre of Greece. She is also a senior student at the University of Athens Law School.
