Peter Sedufia

I am a Writer and Director based in Ghana, West Africa. I graduated film school in 2015, and work as a film director on independent productions. My first student’s film, “The Traveller”, got selected (...) into four film festivals and won me three awards in the short film categories, including the Special Jury Prize at FESPACO 2015. I have written and directed 4 films - Keteke, Sidechic Gang, Away Bus and Aloevera, and Television series - Master and 3 Maids, Co-Habits and Tanko Villa since 2016 when I started my career as a filmmaker. All my films have made waves in the film festival front, with my debut, “Keteke” getting nominated and selected into over twenty film festivals across the world, with seven awards in credit. I believe in making memorable impact with my films, irrespective of the limited resources available to me and other African filmmakers. My biggest career aspiration is to direct a feature length film for a major production company.
