A Kurdish multidisciplinary filmmaker based in London, working across directing, writing, producing, cinematography, and editing. I'm drawn to stories that emerge from cultural memory, collective fears, and the tension between the visible and the felt. I’m particularly interested in folk horror, cinematic representations of the senses, and the physicality of camera movement—which I explored in my master’s research. My work often engages with identity, borders, and how people shape and are shaped by place.
