Medoo Ali

Medoo was born in Baghdad 1991. He studied Cinema in the Fine Arts Institute in Iraq. He is currently resident in Lyon, France. His journey in Cinema started as an Editor and Sound recorder. He has (...) gained a considerable experiences through his work on a number of feature and documentary films like, The Journey (2018), Path of Maryam (2016), Under the sands of Babylon (2013), Son of Babylon (2010), In My Mother's Arms (2011), and others. He has written and directed three short films; Children of War' , 'Nesma is Birds' and 'Taste of Life'. Medoo's films has participated in more than 50 festivals around the world. He has awarded Tribeca Film Festival 2014. Medoo is currently directing a feature documentary film, and this film is his first documentary film.
