Adnan is an award-winning Filmmaker from Pakistan whose work has screened in Asia, Europe and North America including being part of the First Cut showcase held at the Directors Guild of America (DGA) headquarters in Los Angeles and New York He has been a finalist in a screenwriting competition held by the Royal Commonwealth Society and a recipient of the Fulbright Scholarship to pursue a graduate program in film Production in the U.S, where he also received the Leo Freedman Award for his work. Between his fictional film HEAL and music-doc on the origin of Coke Studio, The Journey Within, Adnan's efforts have won 'Best of Fest' multiple times and achieved many firsts for a Pakistani, winning such diverse honors as the prestigious 'Frank Capra Award', 'Jesse Epstein Humanitarian Award' and winning at Comic-Con - the largest annual comic and pop culture festival in the world. HEAL remains one of the the most awarded films written and directed by a Pakistani filmmaker, with his work being included in the book 'Understanding Design in Film Production' by US author Barbara Doyle, with insights from experts at the top of their field
