Matias de Bourguignon, an accomplished private equity manager and film producer with an MBA from Columbia Business School, has made significant contributions to the Latin American film industry. As a participant in the Berlinale Talents initiative of 2023, he further honed his skills and network in the international film community. Known for producing the acclaimed Chilean short film "The Summer of the Electric Lion" (2018), winner of the First Prize at the Cannes Film Festival, his portfolio also includes co-producing the Brazilian film "Divine Love" (2019) by Gabriel Mascaro, which premiered at Sundance and Berlinale, and serving as executive producer for the Chilean film "The Cow Who Sang a Song Into the Future" (2022), showcased at Sundance. His latest project as producer, "Dog Thief" (2024), directed by Vine Tomicic, is set to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, adding another milestone to Matias's career.
