MARLA ARANTXA ARREOLA MENDEZ

Film producer, she has worked in the area of ​​film production and cultural management for the last 10 years. Graduated with a degree in Cinematography from Universidad de las Californias (...) Internacional in Tijuana and from the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica of the Cinematographic and Audiovisual Production Course. Her short films "El Último Romántico" (2018) by Natalia García Agraz, and "Ángel" (2023) by Hoze Meléndez, were nominated for Best Fiction Shortfilm by the Mexican Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMACC). Her film projects have been Official Selection at the Morelia International Film Festival, SITGES, South by Southwest SXSW, San Diego Latino Film Festival, Tribeca, Mar del Plata International Film Festival, Fantaspoa International Fantastic Film Festival, International Film Festival of Guadalajara, Guanajuato International Film Festival. She is currently developing her next fiction, documentary and animation projects, as well as his cultural initiatives such as BC Hace Cine A.C. a non-profit organization.
