María del Puy Alvarado is founder and producer in Malvalanda, a Spanish company specializing in the production of audiovisual content. With 20 years of experience, Malvalada has been nominated to two Oscars Awards and to seven Goya Awards, accepting the award for Best Fiction Short Film in 2017 for “Madre”, by Rodrigo Sorogoyen. Among his notable works are the documentaries "The Mole Agent" by Maite Alberdi and Carlos Saura's latest film, "Walls can Speak." Malvalanda released its two latest feature films in theaters in 2025, ‘Miocardio’, by José Manuel Carrasco, and ‘Hombres íntegros” by Alejandro Andrade, its latest co-production with Mexico.
