Maider Fernández Iriarte

(Donostia, 1988) studied Social Education at the UPV/EHU, Television and Filmmaking at the ESCIVI and the Master in Creative Documentary at the UPF. Her work has been recognized and exhibited in (...) numerous festivals and art centers, several of them as part of the collective Las chicas de Pasaik. She currently combines film directing with participation in different educational projects related to cinema such as Cinema en curs, her collaborations with the audiovisual cooperative Drac Màgic, or her work as a tutor of filmmaking and scriptwriting in the Master of Theory and Practice of Creative Documentary of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona-UAB. Las letras de Jordi (Jordi's Letters), her first feature film, had it's premiere at San Sebastian International Film Festival in New Director section.
