HARALAMBOS TSOUTSAS

Babis was born in Athens in 1979. Studied Business Management in Athens, continued with Film Directing in Prague and a year of photography with Platon Rivellis. Since 2001, he has worked as a (...) director, producer and editor for commercials, Tv series, documentaries and films. On 2007 he established his own post production company, SugarHigh Films, in Athens and London and produced or directed numerous TV-commercials, 3 feature documentaries and 15 short films, many of which are awarded in film festivals. In 2009 he founded the Int. Film Festival of Patmos IFFP (Greece) - a non profit organisation for the promotion of independent cinema, culture and talents. From 2017 the festival has expanded to two islands of the Aegean over 12 days, established international affiliations and evolved to become the Aegean Film Festival. In 2018, Babis founded the Aegean Film Lab for the production of masterclasses and workshops on storytelling and idea generation.
