Guillaume Suon

Guillaume Suon (42) is a French-Cambodian producer and director. Trained and mentored for 7 years by filmmaker Rithy Panh at the Bophana Audiovisual Archives Center in Phnom Penh, Guillaume Suon also (...) holds a master's degree in documentary filmmaking from La Fémis. He has participated in editing and directing workshops at festivals such as Berlin, Sundance, Busan, and IDFA. The films he has directed have received awards and/or have been presented at festivals such as IDFA, Busan, Full Frame, Sheffield, FIPA DOC, Yamagata, AFI Docs, as well as various art and research centers such as MOMA, Lincoln Center, American Museum of Natural History, Villa Medici, EHESS, CNRS... Since 2022, Guillaume has been a reader and substitute member of several CNC commissions.
