I have worked on character-driven documentaries and recently shot a first narrative- fiction feature. The greatest challenge for me has been how to construct an engaging narrative - with movements (...) and emotions - framed within a fresh (and not worried about “new”) cinematography, that makes the story and the characters more powerful and unique. In the end, what I wish to combine in filmmaking is freshness with vigour. To bring to other people something that seems familiar but in a estranged and compelling manner. This is what I believe will make people attentive to the stories, and active in the world beyond them.
