Eef van Breen

Trumpeter/singer/composer/initiator Eef van Breen loves to work with artist from different disciplines/worlds. He loves to translate stories into music. Not in an “applied” form but by using each (...) discipline as equal instruments of one multi disciplined composition. Eef writes for ukelele-duo, for brass bands, tearjerkers, string quartets and he uses everything he ever saw, heard and thought throughout his live. His own group, the Eef van Breen Group is his main platform. Eef wrote for theater productions of the Noord Nederlands Toneel, Toneelgroep Amsterdam, a fanfare for Crescendo Nieuwveen, chamber music pieces for Duo Billitis and a Klingon Opera (nominated 11 on the list most essential things of the world in the New York Times) by Floris Schönfelt which performed in haus der kulturen der welt in 2013. With his Eef van Breen Group Eef tours mainly throughout Holland, in Bars, Concert Halls, out in the Fields or in theaters. At the moment Eef is creating a new phenomenon: a Movie-without-image called Chapman for President!
