Claus studied Latin American Studies and worked as unit and production manager for international cinema projects. For producing ORAY he was awarded with Best First Feature Award at Berlinale 2019, for producing LOVE, DEUTSCHMARKS AND DEATH he was awarded Panorama Audience Award at Berlinale 2022 and in 2023 nominated for the German Film Prize. He is alumnus of Rotterdam producers lab, Berlinale Talents and Mediengründerzentrum NRW.
