Andrea grew up in Paris, studied filmmaking in Chile, opened her 1st production company in Caracas, where she produced her 1st feature, and later settled in Spain, where she goes on producing independent cinema. She comes from a family of film producers and has been living in a set since she can remember. Her films as a director and producer have been in festivals such as Havana Film Festival, Chicago Latino, Malaga Film Festival or Cine las Americas. Her latest film Nena, Saludame al Diego, became a blockbuster comedy in her country with a 15-week run in cinemas. She is an alumni of Berlinale Talents, Rotterdam Lab, EAVE Puentes and Nipkow Programm, among other professional workshops. As a consequence of her training as well as her personal path, she has always leaned towards an international approach to filmmaking. She is the producer of the latest works directed by Erika Lust (recipient of the Maguey Award at Guadalajara Film Festival in 2018 and a lecturer at Berlinale Talents 2019).
