Andrea Boccadoro is an Italian-British composer whose work spans film, TV, and video games. Renowned for his evocative and innovative scores, Andrea composed the music for the French feature film After the Fire, which premiered at TIFF in 2023, and the psychological horror Home Education, starring Julia Ormond and Lydia Page. His latest project, Honey Bunch, the second feature by directors Madeleine Sims-Fewer and Dusty Mancinelli, is set to premiere at the 75th Berlinale in 2025. Born in Rome, Andrea studied Philosophy at Sapienza University and Composition at the Luisa D'Annunzio Conservatoire. In 2013, he moved to London to complete an MMus in Composition for Screen at the Royal College of Music. A recipient of the Hospital Club's Music Creative residency in 2016 and a Berlinale Talents participant in 2018, he has since collaborated with numerous artists from the program. Over the years, Andrea has received multiple nominations and awards for his work. With over 50 film scores across features and shorts, he has become a frequent collaborator with directors from Europe, North America and beyond, supporting stories told in a variety of languages. His films have played at some of the world’s most prestigious festivals, including TIFF, Sundance, Venice, Locarno, and Rotterdam.
