Alvaro R. Valente is an Italian-Belgian producer based in the U.S. His producing work has been showcased and awarded in festivals around the world, including Sundance, Raindance, Warsaw, Telluride, SXSW, Montreal, Max Ophuls, AFI and Sao Paulo. Alvaro has been awarded for his producing work by the Everest Entertainment Award for Young Producers, the Entertainment Partners Best Producer Award and was a finalist for the Saatchi & Saatchi Producer Award. In 2014 he graduated with an MFA in film producing from Columbia University. His feature credits include “Grey Sheep”, “The Fortune Theory”, “Child Eater”, and “Across The Sea” which won the Audience Award and Jury Honorable mention at the Slamdance Film Festival in 2015. Currently Alvaro is in post-production on David Gutnik’s “Brighton Beach” starring FKA Twigs and is in pre-production on Katharine O’Brien’s “Lost Transmissions”. His upcoming projects include Jordana Spiro's Sundance Lab and Catalyst film "Night Comes On" and Esra Saydam’s Sundance Istanbul Lab film “Dreamer In Reverse”.
