Alina Panasenko is a director, screenwriter and visual artist, b.2000 (Severodonetsk, Ukraine) and based in Kyiv, Ukraine. Member of Ukrainian Film Academy. Studied in Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television (screenwriter), Serhiy Melnychenko MYPH School (conceptual and art photography), Pinchuk Art Centre curatorial course. Directed short films 20-11-7.mp4 (winner Molodist IFF), Teatralna Station (winner best editing TISFF, participated in competition at Tallinn Black Nights IFF), Prelude (at the stage of submitting to the festivals). Co-writer of feature film La Palisiada, dir. Philip Sotnychenko. Continuing her interest in cinema and culture, she curates the «Practice. Cinema as/and politics» publishing project.
