Alexandre Desane

Alexandre Desane is a self taught artist born in France, he is an actor, photographer, filmmaker and painter. In 2020, he co-directed a documentary web-series dealing with being a self taught in (...) France. He directed his first short film the same year, “The Orange Child” about racism from the point of view of a Black child. His very first photo book “Crépus”, a limited edition book is a celebrating the uniqueness of Black Hair in the streets of Paris. He is the leading role Frantz Fanon in the feature film selected in Berlinale Forum 2024 "True Chronicles of the Blida Joinville Psychiatric Hospital in the Last Century, when Dr Frantz Fanon Was Head of the Fifth Ward between 1953 and 1956" directed by Abdenour Zahzah.
