- Jussi, a young man in his twenties, has lived in Lapland for his entire life. After the family `s reindeers are sold, he cannot find a new direction for his life. He blames his older brother, who has moved South to follow his studies, for abandoning the traditional way of living. Old resentments surface when the brother visits home.
