"Amazonas the last Frontier"
- Logline
- Three indigenous characters, among which a chamanic sorcerer called Bolivar, take away on a seven days journey on the river Orinoco, aiming at a multinational mine. They are in search of a young aboriginal called Juan who abandonned his community as he had been attracted by the illusion of progress and the mirage of a better quality of life in a hopeless territory which was, long ago, a sacred place for aboriginal people and their gods : the Yapacana Tepuy. This mountain, situated at the natural border between Brazil, Venezuela and Colombia, is nowadays invaded by minors from all around the world. Only the wisdom of chaman Bolivar will allow young Juan to get out of this sad place. Along this journey will also be revealed the river Orinoco’s mysteries of the Seven Stars myth, which guides the constellation of the Pleiades according to the antique tradition of the Arawak indigenous people.
