- Amila, a 19-year-old from rural Eastern Sri Lanka, after losing his parents, relocates to Colombo to care for his four younger siblings. Facing financial hardship and his sister's urgent need for heart surgery, Amila takes a high-paying job with Malini, unaware it involves trafficking infants from unwanted pregnancies to foreign adopters. As he becomes entangled in this morally complex world, Amila grapples with his conscience and the lengths he's willing to go to save his sister.
