- Colombian countryside, 1985. For ARIA, an 8-year-old girl, cracks and silences begin to open and impose themselves after the disappearance of her sister Maria in the Armero tragedy. As her family breaks down, refusing to accept death, Aria finds relief in an imaginary relationship with Maria. Aria's innocence and fantasy will be the key for the family to reconnect and accept death as a natural part of life.
